We have an open communication policy and we’re honest and upfront about treatments and associated costs so you’re never left in the dark.

Paul Hagley BDS, (UoS) FRACDS

Paul grew up in Gunnedah and completed his undergraduate Dental Degree from Sydney University in 1987. He then spent time working at Westmead Hospital, Royal Newcastle Hospital and the United Dental Hospital in Sydney, completing his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1992. Paul moved to Tamworth in January 1993 and commenced practice with Dr Bruce Stewart in Fitzroy St. In December 2006 the Practice moved to Darling St and has recently undergone a second renovation. Paul has worked in all fields of Dentistry and pursued further Post Graduate education in both Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry. As the principal of Darling Dental he engages in all the different specialities of Dentistry, including particular interests in Preventative Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Orthodontics. Away from work and family, Paul is kept busy being a charter member of the Rotary Sunrise Club, a member on both St Nicholas’ Primary School Board and the St Nicholas’ Parish Council, a novice road cycler, a keen fan of cricket, and a Rugby referee for nearly 30 years, contributing to his undying passion for the game.

Michael Jonas BDS (Syd) Bsc Dip Ed (Ncle)

 

Michael Jonas graduated from The University of Sydney in 1980, Bachelor of Dental Science after completing a Bachelor of Science and Diploma of Education from Newcastle University.  Dr Jonas has served with the Australian Dental Association, NSW branch and has been elected to their Council, serving on the Executive Committee and their Board; as well as the Dental Practice Committee and the Constitution and Ethics Committee. He also chaired the Board of the Centre for Professional Development, the continuing education arm of the Australian Dental Association (NSW Branch), and is a Divisional Leader for the North West Dental Regional Meetings. 

At a national level, Dr Jonas has been a member of the Rural Oral health Advisory Panel, a committee tasked with advising the National body of the Australian Dental Association on dental issues related to people living in rural and remote regions of Australia.  Dr Jonas is a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology and the ITI (international Team for Implantology).  His professional interests cover the whole range of dental disciplines.  For recreation, Michael is a keen pilot and motor cycle rider.

Prathayini Puvanakumar, BDS (UADEL)

Prathayini grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and after completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Adelaide, moved to New South Wales. Prathayini has recently joined us at Darling Dental and is looking forward to immersing herself within the Tamworth Community. She has worked in the Special Needs Unit of the Adelaide Dental Hospital and has a keen interest in Preventative and Paediatric dentistry. Since graduating, Prathayini has undertaken multiple continuing education courses and is a strong believer in providing pain-free treatment. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Amanda McNulty

Darling Dental would love to welcome Amanda McNulty to our Darling Dental Team…. Amanda is dual trained as a Hygienist & Dental Therapist and is looking forward to taking care of all our patients, especially our “little people”, specialising in children’s dentistry and continuing our Hygiene program at Darling Dental….

Graham Tulich

Graham grew up on his families cropping and livestock farm in Longford Tasmania. He completed his schooling in Tasmania before studying dentistry at Charles Sturt University in Orange New South Wales. Graham graduated in 2014 and commenced his practicing life in Cooma and Jindabyne NSW before making the move back to Tasmania at the end of 2015. Graham is excited about joining the Tamworth community and the Team at Darling Dental. Outside of work, Graham enjoys being outdoors by either going for a run, walk, bike ride or playing AFL and enjoys good food and the company of family and friends.
